FREMONT, CA: Diebold Nixdorf has revealed the DN Series BEETLE product portfolio.  They are an empowering retailer who can apply modular technology upgrades for meeting the growing checkout requirements in the future. The latest design of the point-of-sale (POS) family consists of the BEETLE A1050 and A1150. It merges the benefits of an all-in-one and modular POS with the help of a click-and-connect mechanism. It helps the solution to adapt various deployment scenarios and decreases the total cost of ownership.

The DN Series BEETLE was built with adaptability, green sustainability, and a decreased footprint at its foundation. The checkout solution is constructed for every retailer to maximize uptime and protect their investments into the future. It also features a shared hardware platform consisting of interchangeable central processing units, display panels, and integrated peripherals that can be easily combined and matched to meet a wide range of several deployment situations.

To establish the company's pledge to sustainability, systems are mainly developed around energy-saving technologies. It also consists of the powerful 8th Generation IntelCore processor (Whiskey Lake-U), the energy-efficient power supply, solid-state disk storage media, and interfaces that decrease total power consumption. With a pleasant, fan-less design, and sealed housing with no moving parts, DN Series BEETLE has significantly less risk of system failure. Therefore, it can also increase the entire store uptime. Over 90% of the materials utilized in the DN Series BEETLE can be recycled, making it an environment-friendly POS solution.

Hermann Wimmer, Senior Vice President, Global Retail, at Diebold Nixdorf, said in a press release that the DN Series BEETLE checkout solutions are distinctive in that they are all-in-one, yet still modular. Retailers can quickly transform configurations with time with the advanced click and connect mechanism, and simple technological upgrades will also protect earlier investments. The next generation can be used for checkout solutions. It also sets a new bar in green sustainability for the industry while adjusting with the store environments and business requirements faster than ever before.
